On Oct. 12, 2021, S&P Global Ratings assigned its ‘A’ long-term issuer credit and insurer financial strength ratings to Orient UNB Takaful PJSC, UAE and Orient Takaful Insurance Co., Egypt.  The outlooks are stable.

S & P has said that “The stable outlook on Orient Insurance PJSC reflects our view that it will retain its position as a leading insurer in the United Arab Emirates, with above-market-average profitability and a significant capital adequacy buffer above our ‘AAA’ benchmark over the next two years.”
